SpringSummer collection gravity bud vessel
A fused glass gravity vessel made with Bullseye glass in colbalt, white, yellow, silver and speckles of powder in yellow, purple and blue. It is made from 5 layers of Bullseye glass which has been cut, assembled and fully fused to 800c in the kiln. The flat piece of glass is then placed over a ceramic doughnut shaped mould and taken to a temperature of 690c. At this temperature the glass will start to flow and create the bud vessel shape. The excess rim is removed before being cold worked and polished. The vessel comes with a wooden display stand. Size: 20.32cm H x 6.35cm Dia.
Shipping and returns.
If for some reason the piece is not quite what you wanted or you would like to change it, I accept returns within 30 days of original purchase. The piece must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You will need to arrange and pay for shipping. If you are shipping an item over £100, you should consider using a traceable shipping service insurance.
How to care for your glass.
Do not put art glass in a dishwasher. If you have purchased a functional piece, you can wash it under the tap with a mild detergent, rinse and dry it thoroughly. Decorative pieces can be cleaned with a soft cloth, glass cleaner or a damp cloth with mild detergent and rinsed and dried thoroughly.
Small bubbles in the piece
The small bubbles contained in the glass are part of the kiln formed glass process and are not faults.
